Moment of inertia of a holed rod

By Ryan Ng

For my physics IA, I had to find the moment of inertia of a rectangular rod with holes punched through it. Though the derivation was as mathematically verbose as I expected, it ended up being quite elegant—once I figured out how to model the holes and use Cartesian. I did all this with no contribution to my grade, because it all had to go in the appendix. Enjoy!
