Three RCHK students admitted early to the Ivy League

By Matthew Ho

The Class of 2026’s college application season started strong. Between the 17th and 19th of December, Andrea Chow was admitted to Columbia College, Oscar So to the University of Pennsylvania’s College of Arts & Sciences, and Ryan Ng to Yale College.

Andrea and Oscar applied through Early Decision—a binding program where students must commit to enrolling if accepted—while Ryan applied through Restrictive Early Action, which does not have a binding obligation. They were the only three early applicants this year from Renaissance College to the Ivy League, a group of eight prestigious universities in the United States. The Class of 2026 currently has a 100% success rate in Ivy League applications.

“I am delighted,” claimed Oscar.

“Me too,” said Andrea.

“It is great that all of our universities’ logos are blue,” said Ryan.

All three students are involved with The RCHK Truth. Oscar is a frequent writer, and Ryan and Andrea are editors-in-chief. We await with excitement as college decisions for the Class of 2026 continue rolling in.
